Tic Tock
chimes the clock.
Reminder of the
age old ritual
that I once
denied to acknowledge
A faint,
forgotten lore
rings in my ears.
Unknown,
a thought
visits,scars
my heart
And I once again
aghast, lone
try to fight
these tears
that remind me
of all that was
"forgotten"
